What is the difference between a car wash and detailing?⌄
A car wash cleans the surface quickly, while detailing is a thorough, hands-on process that cleans, corrects, and protects every part of the vehicle. We deep clean the interior, decontaminate and polish the exterior, and apply protection that lasts. The result is closer to showroom condition than anything an automatic wash can achieve.
How long does a full detail take?⌄
A maintenance-level detail can take a few hours, while a full interior and exterior detail with paint correction can take most of a day depending on the size and condition of the vehicle. Because we work by appointment, we will give you an accurate time estimate when you book so you can plan around it.
Can detailing remove salt stains and winter grime from the carpets?⌄
Yes. Salt stains and ground-in winter grit are one of the most common things we treat on Calgary vehicles. We use extraction cleaning and the right products to lift the salt residue out of carpets and upholstery rather than just masking it, which also helps prevent odours and premature wear.
What is paint correction and do I need it?⌄
Paint correction is a multi-step polishing process that removes swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation from your clear coat to restore gloss and depth. If your paint looks dull or shows fine spider-web scratches under sunlight, correction can make a dramatic difference. It also creates a better surface before applying any protection.
Can you fix cloudy, yellow headlights?⌄
Yes. Our headlight renewal service sands away the oxidized outer layer and reseals the lens, restoring clarity and improving your light output. Clear headlights are a real safety upgrade on darker winter roads, and they make the front of the vehicle look years newer.
Will detailing protect my finish through the winter?⌄
It helps significantly. As part of an exterior detail we apply a protective layer that makes it harder for salt, grime, and moisture to bond to the paint, which makes cleanup easier and guards the finish. For longer-lasting protection, ask us about ceramic coating, which we also offer.
